Goddess-of-Gales rated Dearest Darling Dragon (DEMO)

A browser game made in HTML5.

This game was too cute! I love the concept so much ♥

The artwork was especially adorable, I loved all the little chibi arts that complimented the stat raising minigame.  I love that the "egg" is treated like all the other kids. That's just too precious. ♥ The GUI was nice. The writing was clear and easy to follow. All the characters seem likable. I think the pacing of the plot felt a little rushed as we go from getting a new job, to discovering a mysterious dragon man, to discovering a mysterious egg ... it was a lot being thrown at the reader in a short amount of time, but given this is a demo made for jam(s), I think it's understandable that it'd lack a little polish. I would recommend slowing it down though, if possible.

The stat raising mechanics definitely are what made the game stand out the most to me. My only suggestion in that regard, is I think the "Mood" stat should be changed to something like "Energy", as it would say the egg/monster enjoyed the activity, yet their "Mood" still goes down, which doesn't make much sense to me. And then instead of "Play" it could be "Rest" or maybe "Nap Time". Which is very important for young ones (and some adults ;) ) I know it's not the most original idea for a stat raising feature, but it's common for a reason. It just makes more sense to me.

Overall I really enjoyed the demo and would very much be interested in seeing the final product! Keep up the good work ~ ^^
