I love this game so much. I sat and played for hours and barely noticed, it has excellent Blackadderish writing, a beautiful visual style, and top-notch voice acting. The other thing I love is the way that Astrology is such an ambiguously moral concept. Your patients come to you with problems, and you are given a selection of possible astrological readings that suggest different courses of action. Now, we all kind of know astrology is not the most scientifically sound way to get answers, but not only does the game take place in a time where healthcare and science done by ANYONE is dodgy and largely inaccessible, but also, Simon the main character, genuinely believes what he does is legitimate. He's a quack, but he's also doing what he, based on personal experience thinks is right. There's also the fact that his reading of the stars is biased, simply because he's an ordinary human with assumptions and biases. Sometimes the responses are clearly just what he thinks, rather than a direct 'divination' of the stars, and sometimes his intuition is pretty sensible and/or medically sound, considering he lives in fuckin renaissance England. It's so subtle, but has so much to it. LOVE THIS GAME A LOT.
