SpicyLizard rated Dungeon of BWOMPH

SpicyLizard rated a game 3 days ago
A downloadable game for Windows.

Very exciting proof of concept. I like the TFs you chose to include, and the first-person POV is really fun. The huge boobs in the viewport are quite goofy in the best way and really accentuate the style of sexy humor the game is going for. Also, it's just really fun to jiggle your boobies lol.

In its current state, I'd say it feels somewhat like an adventure game/escape room, where each room is a puzzle and solving certain puzzles gives you a way to unlock other puzzles. I think what most gives it the adventure-game-feel though is that there seems to be only one correct path through the dungeon and your job as the player is to find that one correct path. I can totally see why you all may have chosen that design -- you give the player a dungeon to navigate, and the player has to have meaningful choices for the game play to work i.e. sometimes the player has to fail. On the other hand, If you wanted to create more of an RPG/Dungeon crawler experience rather than a puzzle game type experience, I think the majority of paths should be viable ones. Enemies would deplete a smaller fraction of the player's health and there wouldn't really be insta-deaths after a single decision. In this style of game, what makes the player's choices meaningful is the role-playing aspect ("how will I choose to solve problems this time? Will I overcome obstacles with muscle, magic, or mind?"). All of these play styes are viable and the fun comes from inhabiting a particular character in the game world. This could also give the game more replayability as players may want to replay the game using different classes. Whatever direction y'all decide, I'm really looking forward to seeing where this project goes!
