AmphithereMajesticon rated Terraforming Titans Classic

A browser Terraforming Titans made in HTML5.

Extremely fantastic gem that I discovered in a bored, regular search through itch.io. I was especially surprised by how good the story was, the indepth nature of the gameplay, and the satisfying nature of changing a world to your specifications. It's designed to be impossible to lose (unless you count softlocking as losing) and yet still has great difficulty on specific worlds (zeus when I get you zeus).

Additionally, the game eases you into its science and lets you reason it out. For instance, I realized if I covered a planet in white dust it would mean the mirrors would have to reflect more light to get the same temperature thus raising luminosity to livable standards and making plants grow quicker. Black dust does the opposite but means you have to utilize less mirrors and can lower luminosity ever so slightly. The only thing that didn't make sense to me is that I can't use orbital hydrogen but instead need it colony stockpile which contrasts with the ability to intake water vapor, carbon, or oxygen with other machines.

I've beaten the main storyline which took over a hundred hours and now I'm onto the difficult challenge of figuring out true automation. And, uh, the information mark for script automation is lacking. However, I do know there is a TON of post-game content still with challenges and I've barely touched on artificial worlds still (although I find artificial worlds to be a bit too powerful tbh).
