Starmaker has a distinct visual style, and its focus on photography means plenty of beautiful pictures to look at. There's a focus on mature women, but there's plenty of supporting cast to offer some alternatives to enjoy as well. The various minigames are well-done and add something to the experience rather than just getting in the way of the fun. Especially the not-D&D is quite fun!

If I have any critiques of the project, it is that a lot of the characters feel somewhat stereotypical/one-note. There's not a lot of depth to the writing, which absolutely isn't a dealbreaker for an adult game, but is worth noting. Additionally, character sometimes show up in places they shouldn't, like having someone ask you to help clean the windows, then as soon as you finish and walk into another room the game informs you that said character isn't home and you need to go pick them up at their work.

All in all a game well worth checking out and an enjoyable experience. (I would've given 4.5 stars but it looks like itch doesn't allow that)
