Interesting mechanics and wonderful sound and visual design that really elevates it above most visual novels (if this counts as a visual novel?) that I've played before. The story itself has some really good plot beats, it led me to a lot of places where I expected one of the cliches that I think are overdone or boring, but it completely blew those expectations out of the water and ended up being a story far more hopeful and meaningful than I've come to expect from games with similar themes in the horror genre, which I appreciate.
