Always great seeing people prolong a game's time by doing useless tasks lol, and I do mean it. xD
Great job on this, the story was simple, but progressed in a nice pace overall. I do think some QoL fixes are necessary though, nothing really big honestly, here's a few things I think could be improved.
Being able to look in some cutscenes (like in the beginning ones) feels a bit... Strange? You shouldn't be able to look around, even more when you literally limit where we can view... I mean, might as well not do it at all you know lol. Seeing the point in the middle of the screen also breaks a bit the focus/immersion some cutscenes/cinematic shots try to create, but that's honestly on me lol.
I had some issues advancing the dialogue, I had to click twice every time a dialogue started, so hopefully you can fix that. I also had issues with configurations not saving, but that only happens when you exit the game, so you can add them again either on the menu or inside the game.
Something to be considered in your next game, but collisions need to work better. I was temporary "stuck" in walls or when I get close to objects or furniture. I don't mean stuck, but more like I stopped moving when I get close to them sometimes, hard to explain, but I should more of "slide" instead of just stop or get stuck.
I have yet to play your other games, but you honestly did a fantastic job on this game, no wonder MarkiMoo gave you such donation. Keep up the good work! ;p
