this is, quite possibly, my favorite game of all time. it's unique in its multiple moving parts and yet completely freeform storytelling nature. you build a town with its multiple domains, all layered over top of each other and jostling for position as the dominant force of the story; and let the characters poke around and explore its mysteries with only the vaguest of portents and an oracle deck to guide them. aleks' true wisdom at the top should be taken to heart in all storytelling games (i've absolutely taken "absolute realism is boring" to heart in just about all aspects of my creative life) and 'smooch country" is by far the best name for a scene starter i've ever caught in my life. anyway all of which to say: please get this game, please play it with me, and please talk to me about it. i love it so much.
