After playing and 100%ing It, I give this visual novel... A 8.55/10.

1. Introduction

A 18+ very heavy and graphic fetish game from the taboo and concerning themes with a certain demographic in mind, having it indulge and also think at the same time. While It has sexual and overall kink directed scenes, I consider this something I'm capable of recommending to even those who aren't the target audience as long as they are open minded enough to understand both the vn's plot points and displayed issues that reflect those present In our world.

2. Story & Writing

The first half was definitely rougher than the second, Issues here and there, mostly shock and boner moments overall being true to the content warnings and it's mature material which isn't bad at all but It did feel kind of like it was all piling up to traverse different levels of stupidity and depravated moments really fast in one go more than focusing on the writing of the story. There was definitely essence but it was wayyy more Inconsistent alongside having very few grammar issues that I sometimes noticed but weren't really that big to actually care about... After the segment about the hole, It started actually going up there and consistently staying on that height. The whole back and forth with Haley as everything climaxed and there were conversations between all the characters left and right alongside the callback to the start of Audrey and Argo was probably the BEST part of the game. It was Intense, dark and scary In a positive manner. The ending? It definitely wrapped everything up decently enough, wouldn't know how else to finish it but it was okay. Some parts felt like they dragged a bit and at some parts I kind of wanted the visual novel to end faster but I do think that's just the usual issue of binge reading the whole thing in 4-5 hours. It delivered when It felt like It needed to and my only criticism would just be that perhaps spreading out the dedicated sex scenes and the actual plot better would have overall made the flow of the story cleaner. Forgot to add, but the way it flows as if they are sometimes thoughts makes everything all-the-more real which definitely works in terms of narration due to the style and culture around the game.

3. Font and Speech

I do find the fonts used really fitting alongside the way it switches between scenes. It feels "old school" and that's overall what the entire thing gives off but that's a good thing. The logo Is also really cool and fitting to the overall  experience...

4. Art + Style

I'm not from the fossil era BUT the artist did a really good job at making me feel "nostalgic" in terms of old anime-ish pixelated style. It's simple but effective when it comes to the icons and splash art, It's part of the charm of this game. One other thing I like Is how the use of pop-up Images was used, even though some were seen before in other sections of the vn I still found it pretty nice to see them show up when needed. Same for the backgrounds, It's a really nice distorted effect and It mimics real life a bit so you end up feeling this sense of emptyness and dread as if all of this could happen in a different scale to someone you know alongside the places themselves being recognizable. 

5. Music

Every soundtracks fits perfectly. I hardly care about In-game osts but genuinely each and every one stuck with me because of how memorable every single moment in this visual novel Is and how the music behind them Is the best part. It's all a perfect mix to create this fucked up depressing story with underneath themes and the tracks are all things I'd listen In my own time outside of this vn (I dropped money on the bandcamp album of it heh.(.

6. Characters

This section will collide a bit with the writing, I do think most characters are great. Most people will like different shades of them based on how relatable they are the same way mine are Argo and Nessa since I have BPD though the other relationships in this game like Maya and Haley do remind me of myself enough to care about the entire break-up plot line. While of lower Importance, Xelia and Lia (alongside other minor characters) do serve their purpose but the other two of the main-ish cast Roaches and Noise do genuinely feel like they don't... Really matter much which Is fine but the things is that there isn't really anything to talk about when it comes to them besides being freakazoids which is my only kind of eh with this game. I do also find Maya switch in terms of speech a little abrupt, I mean i do understand it with the whole side of stuff with Haley but funnily enough it does feel like Maya just decided to randomly lock in and drop the whole puppy shit. Going on and colliding with the art section, I think that the designs are all pretty unique. Even with Roaches and Noise, the icons are still good enough for me to keep them In mind and they are all suitable for fan content and appreciation. Literally my only complaint is that i wish there was more art for everyone!!! I love Argo and Nessa & it feels like this game is sooo niche that i find myself with nothing to use besides the assets which is obviously just an issue with the community size and it being a hard vn to recommend because of the themes and content.

7. Conclusion

You shooould play this game, I definitely recommend this and did make multiple people play even though they didn't even like half of the shit in it or the kinks in it. It's a life changing visual novel that will probably enable you for the worse but it's fine because we love bad decisions! Anyways thanks to my ex I guess for recommending me this.

I wish though I didn't have to replay the entire thing everytime just to screenshot assets I want though, wish there was an easier way for me to take parts of the game as I do like making edits and things like that with this visual novel's parts.
