This small tarot-inspired medieval-themed card game has the potential to be really good. Right now, my experience was too buggy to be able to give it even an "average" rating. I like the concept of choosing between options in a given scenario, especially because the scenarios are interesting and well-written. Some of them have "correct" answers and you're punished for choosing the wrong one, but most of them will just challenge your randomly-rolled stats. All the scenarios and the results, even when unexpected, feel realistic to the time period. Sometimes you'll earn or spend gold, sometimes you'll gain some cards at the bottom of the screen, sometimes you'll be wounded and eventually you will die. Across successive games you can unlock legacy cards to choose from when starting a new game. A downside to the game is that there is no explanation for the cards you accumulate on the bottom of your screen (they appear in relation to choices you made, but I'm not sure if they're providing any buffs or debuffs to the gameplay, or are just a visual record of things that happened to your character?) and there's also no explanation for why/how I unlocked a couple of the legacy event cards. Is it because I made a certain choice? Reached a certain threshold? There's no explanation in the game other than "These are your stats, hope you draw lower." But as mentioned at the beginning, the reason that I'm rating this so low is because it's seriously bugged. Every third or fourth game will suffer a fatal error/crash and need to be restarted. Sometimes it happens twice in a row. It always happens after a card draw, but no particular card seems to trigger it. It especially hurts when you've rolled a good character or you've had a streak of good luck with your cards. Smaller bugs encountered: Once I drew a card, but instead of a card just the image of a wand appeared. It disappeared without text when I dragged it off to the side. The two legacy event cards that I somehow unlocked have no description when clicked other than "0" so I'm not really sure what they do. Sometimes the text for an event's results is too long so it goes off the bottom of the screen and I can't read it. None of these smaller bugs are as game-breaking as the fatal errors, though. Unless that huge bug gets fixed I would not advise playing this game (at least not on Windows 10. I can't speak to whether the android version suffers from the same issue).
