Just finished a (only slightly toned down) playthrough with my under-10-year-old, who loved every minute. The very tactile mechanics -- cards, plus dice, plus tokens -- held his attention, and the conceit of exploring the corrupted house looking for something that's been taken from our characters led to some great collaborative explanations of why things were disturbed in this particular way.  We enjoyed seeing the different rooms unfold and relate to one another, mapping them and doubling back when we thought something under-appreciated in a room we'd already visited could shed light on something we encountered later on. Again, I kept the house's corruption fairly soft and less horrific -- a kind of glowing green ooze that slithered here and there melting things -- but I can absolutely see serious replay value here as the particular nature of the Blood, the Tribute, and the Heart take new forms and different rooms come into the foreground. Excellent!
