Fire-Dancer rated Lovecraft Locker: Tentacle Lust

A browser game made in HTML5.

- Cutscenes spastically bounce around like the DVD VIDEO logo

- Cutscene dialogue is nonsensical word bloat

- A hairstyle icon in fap mod doesn't load in

- Hair flies around in completely nonsensical ways

- When capturing a girl in a locker, only their hair reflection shows on the shiny floor, the rest of their body disappears

- Using lockers is tied to levels, and since levels constantly go up, leveling up is a negative more than a positive, and the game can theoretically be easily hardlocked with a game restart being required

- When going back to previous levels, some perk progress can be deleted

This game makes no sense to be this big. The story is a lobotomy to anyone who has ever picked up a book, the locker scenes become repetitive after level one, the gameplay is extremely shallow, most of the new lockers have lame and not worthwhile features, and given the goal is usually to unlock every locker, the need to build an interesting layout is not there.

All of that would have been bad on its own, but the library tanks any semblance of gameplay Tentacle Lust had and throws it into pure tedium. A total of at least 90 level-up points are needed to complete the level, and about 3x that given the cultist's tendency to revert the level-up point progress on clocks, two of which cannot be defended in any way. Because of this mechanic, trying to beat this level within itself would take many hours. Instead, the optimal strategy is to go to the gym room, which has 36 lockers, and grind out 120 level-up points over a total of 12 level-ups. This is absolutely absurd and in no way fun. A player should not be expected to do either of these things. I have no clue how this game ever came out in the state it is... I am so lost for clues on how this is the state of the game.
