Played: early demo.
Loved the world design, some aspects of the presentation, the basic controls, and the cutscenes. The end-demo boss design is really great! I was disappointed I didn't get to try to fight them :)
My only complaint was some of the tells from the horse boss - it wasn't that clear to me when they were switching from "I'm free to attack" state to "you better run as far away as you can" state. I think just the transition point could be a little more lenient (show the animation effect slightly before it actually applies). Also I consistently thought I had gotten far enough away only to take some unexpected damage. But that might just be personal preference. For me it was *close* to where I would want the tuning, but just uncannily off, where I don't notice that same issue with bosses in professional games (even ones where I find the bosses far exceed a difficulty I enjoy).
I also found the story a little bit unclear and just hard to emotionally attach to as its very in media res, but that could also be because of how the demo is structured.
Hope the game turns out as well as the demo did, I want to explore more!
