I wanted to like it, but certain design changes left much to be desire, like how bosses are overtuned to be a bit too difficult than even Inti Creates bosses, navigating the weapons menu is not comfortable, lack of Ride Armor (a staple of the X series), the Head Parts having minimal utility when it could have gotten another purpose (like, let's say, halving Weapon Energy use), Mega Man 1 spikes, the whole canonization of Serges as Wily meme, Sprite rotation done with engine rather than sprites... Sorry, but pass, I'll consider looking into it again and changing my opinion if there is improvement.
