A highly original concept, but I feel like it's bogged down a bit by trying to be too subversive, Having a character point out overused tropes isn't the same as playing with overused tropes. I also personally really liked the idea of the "Truman show" ending, since the actual ending is given to you immediately, finding out that Adrian wasn't in a video game would have made an interesting twist, but it wasn't the story the developer was trying to tell and I respect that, since the story they did tell was interesting enough to hold up on it's own
