The premise of the point system is nice, however the amount of flexibility is both positive and negative in design. It allows simple creativity, however it can make balancing without an outline or plenty of work prior difficult. Needing to survive long with a challenge is fun, however the lack of power replenishment means that towards the end of a game it can dampen the pacing and excitement for everything with a lack of magic use. Definitely for a one-shot over campaign.
Although the system is focused on ease of new players and GMs, I personally would disagree, as it seems simple on a quick skim but it's not very new GM friendly due to the flexibility + some of the writing layout.
