This is one of those games wherein the good points eclipse the points I'm not so keen on by enough that I rate it to the max. The plot is by no means original, but not farcical. The writing is good. There are some really good characters. The character models are largely unique or original, as far as I have seen. A key is that there is some really well-depicted pathos and emotion. I tried the creators' follow-up game, and it just didn't click with me at all, but this one I can highly recommend.
