The setting feels really good, the mechs feel all feel somewhere between on par with their best official counterparts and significantly better than their official counterparts. The talents run the gambit from better than most of their official counterparts to significantly better than all but the best official counterparts. The core bonuses have a few options so good that even if only half the option is used, they are still better than a bunch of the official options. Most of the stuff for the numerical mechanics of Lancer feel noticeably power creepy. Not like "OMG that's absurd" levels, but just better than like ~50% of the official content for the poorer options up to obviously better than anything but the most min-maxed official stuff with half the effort for the best stuff.
