Know That I Loved You is a short one-shot visual novel that leaves you gripping at your screen and begging William, or yourself, to think very carefully about the words you are actually saying to the only other character in the game; a co-worker, a lover, named Ivan. The world-building in such a short story is phenomenal and feels truly lived in, for better or worse given the state that humanity has been left in. 

Fantastic art rewards us on our reading journey as we delve into the relationship between Ivan and William, as well as the one between William and us as we are left to be voyeurs to the situations he puts himself in due to his obsession with the other man. It feels true to being held prisoner in your own mind by impulsive and intrusive thoughts that cease to quiet, which only adds onto the tension and atmosphere.

This is a beautifully written toxic MLM with a haunted narrative and gorgeous original artwork, and a wonderful short-form experience.
