I enjoyed the emotional valence of the experience and thought on the whole it was a very pretty thing. At times I thought it might perhaps have been getting a little didactic which does, I think, undercut things somewhat (I am particularly thinking of the second customer and parts of the first) but I think it did land its mark more or less by the end. When it did find some whimsy in things (the bender sticks out to me), it felt more rounded out. All in all, I think this was a great stab at something that would be worth exploring more in order to find more breathing room for the idea; I did think it was quite appealing as a frame.
