lilithkismet rated The Spark of One

A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Very short (about one minute) interactive experience illustrative of a poem provided at the beginning, about how one person can affect/change others. Beautiful piano music, simple and colorful graphics, nice message.  (My only critique is that it seemed a little... tone deaf(?) at the start of the gameplay portion when you attract glowing squares to you, unless I have the brightness on my monitor cranked all the way up, the glowing shapes look white while the shapes that remain unaffected are dull brown. I felt like... why is white good and brown bad?  You could make the squares you attract glowing purple, and the shapes you don't attract green, or really any other color combo. Especially as a metaphor for Mr. Luther King Jr., attracting "good" white squares and not affecting the "indifferent" brown shapes is a really weird choice. Then I cranked up the brightness out of curiosity and I guess the "brown" shapes are actually tinged dull yellow/greenish, and the "white" squares maybe have a tiny hint of glowing pale blue to them. I still think the color combo should be changed to something that won't cause confusion if the monitor settings aren't perfect. Just my opinion.)
