I suspect I didn't have quite the intended experience seeing as how this was the first VN I've read from the overall series but it was a fun, engaging read all the same. The characters are very lovely, well-drawn men (well, and one cool as hell lady) and I enjoyed the way they all tried to sort of flex on each other; it gave me the sense that everyone involved was engaged in a kind of power play to gain/save face. I also thought the backgrounds were crisp and somewhat painterly. All in all, I'd say this was well done!
