Skelebro rated HEPTAGON

A downloadable game for Windows.

Im sure you're proud of the transitions between the perspectives and neat warping on the levels, but coming from someone who played a ton of super hexagon, i have a bit to say.

The best thing about super hexagon was its simplicity-  It didn't over-complicate your view or movement around the center. It kept you on your feet, but gave you plenty of time to react as it changed from Hexa to Square. Changing perspectives entirely can be jarring, and though its doable, that doesn't take away from the fact that its Jarring and difficult to deal with.  Especially at higher speeds

I like the idea of adding new shapes to circle around and patterns- And i really do like the idea of changing perspectives, but it might ultimately drive a majority of your players off.

not telling you to remove it. you've obviously put a lot of work into making it work, just maybe consider having a mode where those don't interrupt you, (or maybe slow the transitions down) because as it seems- the patterns are the same no matter what.

Side note: forcing your player to do a tutorial  is a real headache, and it was worse when the menu shows up, and you're holding left, it goes back to the last 'practice' mode. Part of superhexagon's greatness was the fact that it drops you in and lets you start running if you can handle it.
