I've only finished one play-through, but I am so delighted by this visual novel. I really appreciate how this game not only gives each character realistic, complex backstories, but that it shows how this impacts their relationships with the other characters. I also really appreciate that this game talks frankly about trauma, neurodiversity, gender, and family relationships. I consider myself pretty good at picking up on gender coding and was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. I also feel really proud to see the characters grow and make new discoveries through the support they receive from each other.
This a rare game that makes me curious and excited to play through it multiple times because I know there's still so much more to learn about the characters! (And I also want to see which pairings will nab me A+ outcomes for all the missions). I love that this game emphasizes that platonic relationships are as important as romantic relationships, so I'm looking forward to exploring the friendship routes as well.
