I have this game on steam.  It has ruined other visual novels for me with its depth and breadth!!!  The choices REALLY do matter, and there are so many branching storylines.  When the game boots up there is a screen that reads "You can't save everyone.  You may not even be able to save yourself."  and holy shit.  Very true.  I've got almost 60 hours into the game and am still exploring options.  For anyone worried about it still being in early access, don't.  The developers have reliably updated over the years, and there is only one major update left.
