Finished this on Friday, I thought it was so incredible. The characters are all lovely, the romance is adorable, the trans joy is palpable. I've never read a book with a trans MC before and it seriously made me emotional. Also it introduced me to magical girl content and I adore it! One of the details that seems obvious but really stuck out to me and stays in my mind is never hearing the deadname of the MC, not a single shred of transphobia in the book (even by villains), and even without it, the dread of dysphoria is a strong emotional force at the beginning of the book and overcoming it with euphoria feels so sweet. I loved Magica Riot, look forward to ordering Full Bloom :)!
