I wanted to like this, and thought initially that it was going to be a great experience. But there's something too tonally inconsistent about it all. It's a problem I seldom have, but I really feel like this game has too many different writers onboard and that they aren't matching style and tone well enough. There are oddly vacuous and ham-fisted attempts to force some modern-coded content and references that break emersion, and some odd lapses in prose / dialogue quality out of nowhere.
