I wish I could rate this game higher but some issues just leave me unsatisfied.

The graphics need a lot of work. The actual art is great, but the pixel art looks wrong for the games tone and style. With the many characters not even looking like their sprites. Some glitches too that look like basic z height issues of things layering against the player sprite incorrectly.

The combat feels tacked on. Fights are rarely engaging or fun and quickly become a chore. ( the act with like 18 back to back fights, ugh) The game has systems for equipment and consumables but neither are used. There is also no level up system which seems like a missed opportunity. There is a job board but no jobs, combat just feels like an after thought which is a SHAME as I love tactical combat.

Money is pointless. With there being no need to buy gear, consumables, or even pay for your hotel room there is just no need for cash.

The game has a lot of sexual content, half decent writing, and a shocking number of mini games, so it's worth playing if you are interested, but it is not this gold standard others seem to say it is.
