Caribdis i hope you see this. I havent had a visual novel make me feel this way or keep me this engrossed since my very first, Katawa Shoujo.  this will stay as one of if not my favorite. heart and soul I mean that. the game play was wonderful, the comedic moments never forced but still having time to land, the romantic moments had a steady build and even after they hit a crescendo and plateau it never became boring to see these characters become closer through intimacy.  The mini plots of each girls life concerns all aided in giving them depth of character and likeability. James himself showed his affection strongly and without reserve. something that some people would look at from the outside and think is too childish, but when you understand that he didnt allow adversity or the horrors of the dark depths of life to dissuade him from letting his heart flow fully to others, even friends, around him, you then realize he is what we should hope to become as a friend and lover to others. 

the cinematics were excellent, i enjoyed every one of the sexual or intimate moments greatly. They never felt like they were taking away from the situations. The idea that for some characters things could become deeper and more meaningful through consequence was beautiful. I wont give the examples by name incase any new player reads this review. 

lets just say that by the end of this game, through the final scenes, my heart ached with happiness, with satisfaction of a story completed. what a Journey Caribdis, what a story.... what an experience, and if youll forgive me for saying so I would even say...

this was a Once in a Lifetime experience.
