beautiful game, stunning graphics, but I have 3 ( I think solid) gripes with the game.
1. visual clutter: there are too many points in combat especially where too often is there flashing on the screen and making my eyes sore after 2-3 fights. If there was an option to reduce flashing lights (or at least make it a black flash), it would be appreciated. Truthfully this one is kinda personal but I think it still counts.
2. levels mean nothing: while I haven't been actively grinding like crazy, even while being almost 8-9 levels higher than most enemies,there doesn't feel like any real difference then when I was the exact same level in most fights. The only thing that seems to scale properly is enemies dealing over 1/2 my health bar within the first thirty seconds of combat.
3. While I do love a game with complexity, I can't help but feel as if its all too rushed, you go from the basics (magic system, the shooting segments) and then every other system that was thought of just gets thrown in about the same 15 minutes and the pacing goes straight out the window. maybe if it was stretched out a bit further, it could help with the learning curve of this game.
To end this review: I love this game and what its doing is unique, but maybe a little fine tuning is all it needs.
