I've greatly enjoyed this book (I mean, I read the second half in a single sitting). The characters and story are all quite enjoyable (and, of course, the non-human themes greatly appeal to me). I also liked the ways in which the protagonist isn't the typical solver of all problems, it felt appropriate given everything. Lastly, I also thought the way that the chapter headers explained things and how the book used formatting was really cool.
