I'm just starting chapter 7 on my first playthrough, and I feel that this game has no right to be as cute and fun as it is. The art and the music is perfect for the tone of this game. The frame narrative of the AI is interesting.  And the choices have felt like they really mattered to the story. All the characters are super cute; I want to go back and try all their routes--But the romance is absolutely secondary to the overall story, so people who are put off by that can still enjoy the game. I think this is a very fun title that gaming fans should check out regardless of whether they usually enjoy visual novels. 
Finally, I am an enby who chose an enby character, and I fully enjoyed the experience of people automatically knowing my character's gender throughout the game. It's a small detail, that probably only matters to a select few, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
