i played this streaming it to a discord voice chat. my honest opinion - no offense but it's kind of a "so bad it's good" game. the people who watched me play first likened it to a flash game, obviously due to the amateurish art direction, graphics, and sound design choices. but they were incredibly entertained by my gameplay, because of how (intentionally or unintentionally) humorously surreal the game was: unexpected and abrupt level transitions, e.g. changing from a beach to an ice level back to beach again, all with absolutely no transition between the stages; strange gameplay mechanics, specifically the janky movement physics (e.g. you can jump on ceilings); humorous enemy and level visual design, intentional or not; the fact that some weird ladybug creature starts floating around jamming and following you for no (apparent) reason; the fact that the last name of the villain is literally Humamn; boloe.

of course, this is not to say that the game is bad. ...okay the game is kind of bad. the gameplay viewed independently would honestly be pretty boring, since movement is so basic and enemies are not that interesting gameplay-wise. but even then there are some things about the game that aren't "so bad it's good" and instead just like. normal good. kind of. the quality control of the music is a bit inconsistent but some of the tracks are actually, like, kind of funky. the cutscenes were cute -- in fact i remember my Viewers chose to voice the dialogue in the scene where bumbleline is talking to the mole rat lab guy in the sewer. the story is decent.

overall i would recommend this game to people who like weird stuff. although the game used Some Generative AI and 1. you used it in the first place 2. you don't disclose which assets were AI-generated 3. this was only disclosed on the ending credits. so because of that you lose 60 Social Credit.
