"... These berries don't taste so sweet anymore..."

HOLY PEAKKKKKKKKK—

A delightful, if a bit morbid (so, mind the trigger warnings), fanwork made using RPG Maker! It's a heartfelt retelling of Obey Me's first few lessons and delves more into the past through Belphegor's perspective. The ending CG, along with the abrupt halt, struck me in the heart (just like Belphie did to MC).

  • Writing: 5/5 — short, smooth, and balanced between humor and serious. Character dialogue between each other is beautifully nuanced.
  • Visuals/Graphics: 6/5 — Starr outdoes themself again! From their own drawn character sprites, icons, custom background items, and even symbolism of Lilith is stunning and very appealing!
  • Solomon Mentioned: 1/5 (/j) — Sadly, the old man does not make an appearance in-game, as this takes place before he would make any appearances, nor does the game focus on him. However, Lucifer does kindly name-drop him when talking to Belphegor 🥰

Overall, a nice bite-sized game to play if you are/were a fan of the original Obey Me series!
