ONE OF THE GREATEST VISUAL NOVEL GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED?? I initially thought it will go all yandere or in a line like that, but surprisingly it turns out with this apocalyptic setting but also occult related. That I would say a plus point since it doesn't follow topic trends and make the experience felt refreshing. I also liked the concept of the bells and how you would experienced some sort of hallucination if you get the disease. I loved both of these characters dialogues and their personality, each of them, and I understood the backstory of Eames. I knew in the end one of them would die first lol, a hunch from the very first second I lay my eyes upon this masterpiece, but it still makes me cry, especially reading the letter Daniel wrote to Eames.
For the open ending side, I don't mind it too much, even though we didn't really know whether Eames, Daniel, Jess, and all the other characters will get the chance of their new world. Since i am wanted a happy ending, I will ascertain myself that they do have a new world, which they could remember their promises and do it. One thing that annoy me is that we get mentioned about these "transcends" thingy, but in the end seems like it didn't get much further mention or conclusion. Something like that would usually be discussed furthermore for the lore to have some kind of exception in regards of the cores and cycles? but yeah, The sudden ending made that transcending concept felt irrelevant to the whole story. And Imma say this too, but I felt Eames get a core because of him and Daniel relationship, so I figured his core is the small one in the credit scene. But I kinda felt the sudden collapse doesn't really have a good explanation? because this smiling death would have a long time to take someone to death. But why is his so abrupt? The only plausible reason I could've think of, is he himself rip off his own core and immediately offer it? idk. One thing for sure this game is 10000/10🤩.
