lettered tiles file up from the bottom as players try to make words using adjecent letters.  One is going to need a sizable word knowledge, eg scrabble players, to make deep progression. Perhaps my limited vocabulary limited my enjoyment, but I didn't find I was learning new words nor improving strategies. But if you want to prove how erudite you are, this might be a game for you.
