I want to get out of the way, I'm not rating this game low because of the genre, which is tf porn where you lure a young man back to your house to have sex of dubious consent with. tbh I think that's actually a very witchly endeavor.
However at best this reads like an ERP written with one hand, edited never, with some parts attached at both ends to try and provide some context. We get this meandering shopping scene to set up character dynamics that ultimately don't matter because the reason that clara invites barry back to her house is because she wants to fuck a monster tf gnoll. The art is fine if not unfinished. The music is chill but out of place.
Where it falls apart is the prose. We get dangerously close to "breasting boobily" when our main character comments that even her boobs feel heavier due to her hibernation. The description of musk is both an unpleasant level of gross, but also kind of nonsensical. Clara seems to be drawing conclusions from it that... I'm just not following. The character interactions are really stilted as well. The dialogue between Clara and Barry feels like cheezy porno, which wouldn't be bad if it was purposeful. I thought that Dorian was introduced to be the "right in front of my salad?" type character, but he's not. Most of the actual conversation we see is actually between those two. Dorian is a flamboyant gay man, maybe a he/they, but the prose is so all over I'm just not sure if that's the writing or the actual character. I get the impression that they're supposed to have a "catty rapport," Barry even mentions walking in on a midseason sitcom. Like many a (american, at least) sitcom, after watching one casual conversation between the two it just seems like they really don't like each other. His actual purpose is that he's there to set up the hypno part, because he's half dragon half... vampire? Wait where is the witch part? Why is this game even called sex witch no-gno, besides the mediocre gnoll pun? If clara is a witch we don't get anything about it beyond some off handed comments about potions, which may or may not be jokes. I guess she recognizes the signs of transformation in the guy she has a random meet-cute with at the grocery store, and there's some implications these must be common because she's done it before, but...? I'm not even going to get into the sex prose beyond: it's bad. The route where you pull dorian in to hypnotize (and subsequently finger blast? maybe top???) Barry is just hard to follow, and the route where you solo the gnoll is filled with so many moments of "that's just not how that anatomy works" I find myself clenching in genital sympathy.
I want to respect the vision! I'm an avid bisexual, monsterfucker, and woman enjoyer, and I think it's great to see more main characters who are women. But whatever the vision is here, I'm not seeing it.
