Griseus is a bit of a hodge-podge.

On one hand, the art is really nice. I really like the line-boil effect for the sprites/CGs in this VN. It's a simple effect, but it brings a lot of life to single-pose sprites...it feels like there's a lot of little microexpressions. The bois were very cute.  Similarly, the backgrounds are coherent stylistically and work well with the sprites.

On the other hand, the plot of the VN is lacking currently. We don't have much of a sense of time or place besides *waves wing vaguely around the early 1900s*. We don't get much of the MC besides that he's kinda socially awkward and a shut-in. And not much happens until a cliffhanger ending. 

I do plan on playing the next build, but I would like to see how the ending of build 1 sets up the rest of the story. If it can do so successfully, I think this VN could be a pretty decent I guess my worry would be that the next build might drop the momentum the ending built up and not give me enough plot/character development to justify me going to a third build. I hope for the best in this regard.
