The idea is good, the graphics and VHS shader are great (I do think you could decrease it by half, it's a bit too strong, and I don't see a reason to "decrease" the screen resolution too...), but it's exactly polished...

Let's start with the beginning. You should put the press space to skip in another place, being so close to the text is rather distracting. When we click on something the text appears, but disappears if we look away, I don't think it should be like that... Just like any other game, it's best to lock the camera and make it so that the player advance only after he clicks again to get out of it.

The santa (animatronic) AI is pretty bad... He moves even if we look at him, and I do think that's because the props are also considered to be things that block our vision of him maybe...? He moves slowly, and I think that shouldn't happen. Teleportation is also a issue, I died 2 times in the beginning trying to figure out what killed me, only then after being extremely careful that I noticed who it was. I think he should stay locked in place for 3 seconds before he can move again.

Some more loud sounds could help as well, like a sound effect of HO HO HO when he's super close or something like that, that would be quite creepy actually. Unique poses when we see him would be fun and really creepy as well, like the weeping angels... Iconic santa poses would look great here, but honestly not really needed.

I shouldn't be wasting my time writing a review and all, since I could just give 1 star and be on my way... I wasn't even able to escape, if you even can, but I can see potential in this. It's a good idea if more story and work is put into it.

I honestly have no idea if you rushed this, since I only downloaded this and played right away, but oh boy... I must say it to you... You need to cock this a bit more, ts is raw as fck. Good luck.
