Incredible experience. The writing is fun and faithful to the material. The gameplay was engaging and challenging, even though I wish the game communicated better how the battle system works. It was still fun figuring it out through trial and error.

Probably my biggest complaint is that, with a few notable exceptions, most of the enemy sprites appear to be generic RPG Maker default sprites. Initially, I thought this might be some kind of limitation the dev had to work with, but considering the tricks pulled in the game towards the end, maybe it was just a issue of the dev getting better as they programmed the game?

Still, if you don't mind a hefty amount of gameplay, this is a strong recommend for any fan of the original Echo.
