ProtoWords is an absolute joy to write in. From launch, you are dropped into an immersive, distraction-free environment that makes it easy to slip into a creative headspace and write.  The subtle keystroke sounds paired with the ambient background sounds are a great addition to the minimalist User Interface, making it easy for the ideas to flow without overthinking them.

I downloaded the trial and couldn't resist buying it outright after just an hour of using it. I do a lot of writing for my D&D campaign, and the Sunlit Grove theme gets me in the perfect headspace for doing that.

One of my favorite features is the ability to prevent editing. It's been incredibly helpful for keeping me in writing mode while preventing me from constantly tweaking and second-guessing my ideas as I work.  Being able to focus purely on getting words out has made the process feel all the more natural and productive.

Im really excited to see ProtoWords come to other platforms so I can install it wherever I please.  If I had one wish, it would be for an eventual iPad release. Being able to carry an immersive writing environment with me wherever I go would be incredible.  I'd honestly purchase the app all over again to make that happen.
