Great story, Epic fantasy, all the tropes and cliches, the chosen one, special powers, dances of power, corruption, the evil cult, the noble villain.. etc etc... but all done wonderfully well. 

But this is an AVN. 

This is NOT an AVN which shies away from being that. Not one of those AVNs which try to get a pass for their paltry amount of adult scenes, often gated so hard they make Check Point Charlie (when it existed) look like a breeze to navigate, and claim 'it is not that kind of story'.... which is balls anyway, since the A part is the DEFINING feature of an *A*VN....  no, not this one though, this does not do that. 

No, this one KNOWS it is a game with Adult.. SEXUAL... explicitly so.. content, and that that content is critical to the nature of these games. It offers all the best aspects one would want from that being the case too.. You can have a Monogamous Romance path, a Poly path, or true Harem path... or can just decline any woman you do not want anything with, altogether.  And there is a veritable CORNUCOPIA of beautiful women to pursue. 

And Pursue them you shall, or may, as takes you....  and conquer them, sexually you shall if you so choose.... and ... and... and......

...... that is the PROBLEM. 

The sexual scenes are just.... SO BAD. 

Badly 'Shot".... that is, poorly paced, phased, angled, and framed as to actually DIMINISH the game. This game is SO good, and the quality SO high in almost ALL other ways, this game deserves it's explicit adult scenes to look like they were done by Philip Mond, or Andrew Blake... or in some scenarios.. perhaps Michael Ninn or Mario Salieri. 

Instead, they look like they were made by some early 80s back alley, carpet covered garage staged, cheap videotape shot, two bit, b grade sex rag classifieds, pornographer with some cringy mononym. Every scene, there is close ups from underneath of penetration, but only framing their butts and their... business parts.... which then cuts to side view, slightly from behind, showing only the same, then it cuts to wide shot... that is from an angle as to qualify it as softcore, then the same close up framing... but this time of boobs.... and then, finally, a climax face, and perhaps still render of a pied puss puss. If you want to understand this analogy, just watch some cheap schlock porn from the early 80s when videotape came along and saved the US Pornographic film industry. 

Now, you might think I am being so harsh rating this game so poorly because of that. The Dev might lack skills to do much more, right? He might not have the hardware to do it, possibly? Perhaps the game being so great in all the other areas, uses up a lot of space, and resources and he was being considerate of that? 

Well... MAYBE? See the thing is.... DEEP DEEP in to the current content of the game...which is already pretty epic, even if unfinished, there is finally a scene, which plays like a Brazzers clip. Much better composition, all the angles, framing, great phases, better use of distance and perspective... and more... the VERY NEXT scene after that is THE SAME quality. Not quite as hot a scene... but ample evidence the Dev CAN do it.... but he does NOT. 

The final few scenes thereafter, following those two... we are right back at the start... with the exceptionally poor quality and unexciting sex scenes. That is a MASSIVE fail. 

When I commented on this glaring weakness, and that this game ideally needs ALL scenes to be as good as the two I mentioned here... because this game DESERVES it... my comment was deleted, and it seems like comments, for myself at least, have been disabled. 

Nope. This one to me is just all kinds of NOPE. 

2 out 5...   4/10.... something to get when you are really NOT looking to play a hot AVN. Barely worth the $5.
