Thats Not Family Friendly rated Express No.6

A downloadable Train Horror for Windows.

I'm leaving a 5 star review bcs i want to see you succeed as a dev, not bcs i enjoyed the game. This game feels like false advertisement, the unique mechanic isn't actually used to beat the game, apparently there was a way to zoom in and use the x-ray feature, but it was never stated in the game how to do it, and it was never needed to beat the game. The lack of a brightness slider made this game take way longer then it should've, there's a lot of segments that are basically pitch black, and for a game where you have to explore a train to solve puzzles, it gets really annoying when you cant really see anything. All the jump scares in this game were boring and uncreative, this game has you walk around solving puzzles, occasionally interrupted by a loud noise followed by a semi creepy thing hopping at your face. I'm also really upset at the ending, I'm fine with you doing some weird meta ending and everything is just a prank, but force feeding us a post card with some random content creator like im expected to know who they are seems super lazy, & to that degree, why advertise for content creators? these people already have a following, they dont make up itch's horror community, the people who should have the spotlight are the developers who work tirelessly to make the actual games, how is this the horror community when its a bunch of youtubers & not the people who populate the community with free games? Who is this for? gamers arent going to know these people, if they were willing to buy a game that means they probably arent watching horror youtubers to begin with. as for youtubers, they arent going to want to do free advertising for someone they dont know.

The worse part here, is that all of this could be excused, I wouldn't feel passionately about any of this, and I would just shrug and sweep it under the rug, if it werent for the fact that you charged upwards of 5 DOLLARS. As a youtuber, thats more money then most of us will make off the video, as a consumer, i just payed $5 for an unenjoyable experience. & you dont wear any of this on your sleeve, the game is presented as a fun christmas themed horror game with a unique mechanic, but doesnt do either of those things right.
