While the game has incredible concept and ideas, there are parts of the game that felt lesser than others, and one part that pissed me off quite an impressive amount.
Pros; Each branching romance goes fully different from the next, not one is similar in the sense that you truly end up at completely different points. Even when a route has a character from another route (aka Felix) the route itself is completely different in both instances.
In most occasions the main character isn't a wet rag that feels bland and useless, though she also doesn't stand out as impressive or particularly memorable - a good in between if you will.
You are able to see both sides of the proverbial coin depending on which route you go for. Do you opt for a more luxurious and diplomatic - but political - lifestyle, or do you straight up rebel and fight back towards your own injustice. Or do you run away and go into hiding.
Cons; While the romance routes are vastly different from one another, there isn't much branching due to your choices besides this. There are obviously the little differences in dialogue for the most part, but your choices in dialogue with the romances only felt important in the poly branch to see your dynamic with both LI's.
When you pursue Theo - my personal favourite - your character will suddenly develop a bout of idiocy that made me nearly rip my hair out because what in the actual heck was that?? She goes from believable and almost intelligent to babbling fool and that truly sent me spiralling.
All this being said; this game is vastly better than the average VN (or IF) you can find on itch and is still worth a playthrough.
