I'll admit my first read through of this game was a bag of mixed emotions, mostly positive but a few things that just weren't my cup of tea. That being said I've now read through whats been released several times and its now one of my favorites. Apparently I'm a sucker for competing ruling families and their marriage politics because its a theme I've found in a few other stories that I really enjoy and this VN does a great job with that. The characters are all great and have enough uniqueness to be themselves without feeling like cliches and the plot is deep enough to be engaging without detracting from the relationships. Overall great balance and a fun read to return to in between other VNs.
