Rudy12345mc rated CHEFWARE

A browser game made in HTML5.

Really great Ware game! Love the visuals and the gameplay, super solid and understandable games for the most part, with potential for clutch saves abound. The art here is bursting with charm and great detail. I also love Magnus, where his hiring regimen seems rough, and he seems tough, but you quickly realize he's actually giving you a pretty great deal in this job market, and he's generally an alright and passionate dude! His visual design is also perfect, very silly looking Wario-like, while also feeling like a pretty macho dude.

When I saw that boss, my eyes went as wide as dinner plates! I'm so used to Ware-like bosses being unrelated to the previous microgames or rehashing them throughout, but this did a great job of rehashing the previous game's mechanics to make something unique and climactic!

My only minor qualm is that the "Take order" microgame was a bit poorly indicated at first, I wasn't sure what was important to document my first go around or what I was doing and got lost between 2 burger types. That said, it's such a fantastic and innovative idea for a set of two microgames that I was fine with simply adapting after the fact, and I'm not sure how I'd change it without simply simplifying minigames to just the larger object shapes... but I like trying to quickly chicken scratch the details soooo I like it! It's just a dilemma without a clear answer to me that isn't overly long or verbose.

Cool cool stuff!
