8/10
If the jumpscare elements were present my first run-through, I didn't notice them, but they were VERY effective the second time I played, and the atmosphere was impeccable. Also as a vintage music nerd I appreciate that it used the original recording of Daisy Bell rather than the computer one. Creating an effective horror game out of a takeout dish is no easy feat, surely. Honestly the only things holding this back from a 10/10 for me are the driving mechanics and, again, the horror was almost too subtle the first time I played (at least enough to where I managed not to notice it, again I don't actually know if they're present on your first playthrough or not). Also the ending if you don't go back for free stuff could've been a lot better. I get the joke is that it's being petty with you, but it would've been better (in my opinion) if there was still some real consequence.
