This visual novel is genuinely really cute! The writing is tight, mostly consisting of very charming dialogue. The characters, Bruce and Kip, intrigued me from the get go. I love their dynamic, as simple as it may be.

I think in the visual novel space, shorter projects like this one get overshadowed, and don't get the love they deserve. So I really mean it when I say this is better than a lot of longer and more ambitious VNs that don't manage to stick the landing. 

It's a nice breather. It's short, cute, gives you a fuzzy feeling, and has a very appealing artstyle -- this doesn't make it just comfort food. Within the simple premise there is a genuine reflection of childhood and adulthood that got me to pause and think.

The ONLY criticism I'd give, is that for some reason lowering the music volume in some sections doesn't actually lower the music -- which is pretty loud. But I could turn it down by changing the VN's sound directly with the sound mixer. I don't want to pick apart this too much because it's obviously unintended.
