I did up a nice DB in Notion to save everything into and then I am making a compendium of just my entries and letters with synced blocks and views of the map, skills, and confidant entries. I need to write out/reformat prompts and other items feeding into an entry before I can write the entry so there is a lot that a journal would not be able to hold. Plus, my entries are longer than expected but that is the beauty of this game - it guides you, it does not dictate.
Also, I took two decks of regular playing cards (never used and have had for a good twenty+ years) and a Sharpie. Clubs are wands, Hearts are cups, Spades are swords, and Diamonds are coins. Ace through K of all four suits are all made. The four jokers became Pages and the major arcana I wrote on a card each. Then I took 6 cards and wrote 1-6 for my six-sided die. Then I took the cards needed for the tokens including collapse tokens and I made my token bag instead of stacking dice. Only three, give or take, cards are left from two decks!
I was purely digital my first try of Volume 2. I realized I had not put the major arcana in the Suits Deck. I kept wondering how I got confidants! Then I did everything as above. Working fantastic. I love it! I look forward to the other solo RPG games. I HOPE I can find more with Tarot and dice and dice stacking to reuse my home-built versions.
