At the beginning, I was just expecting some generic porn stuff to amuse me. Visual novels are nothing new to me, but Twisted Memories is not generic, it's clearly a labor of love.

Each main character has their own struggle and their own character arc. The scene, the music and the dialogue really stirred my emotions. The characters are well written: their struggles are relatable and fit naturally with their personalities. After several hours of playing, I found myself genuinely invested in them, especially the main ones, who are all so adorable and cute in their own way.

My objective in playing also shifted from watching something lewd to actually enjoying the story. That said, even if the porn side is no longer my main focus, the sex scenes are still dame good, especially once you feel connected to the character.

My only complaint is that the writing can sometimes get a bit verbose.

All in all, Twisted Memories is quite a journey that deserves a 5/5 for me. It even makes me want to connect with someone, to find my future soulmate. Hopefully, before the end of next year, I'll have someone I can care for, and who cares for me in return.
